The company 3D-plastic Hans Kintra was founded in 1963 as a plastic processing company. Since 1990, 3D-plastic Hans Kintra GmbH has been continuing the business of the former sole proprietorship in the legal form of a GmbH. We are engaged in the production and distribution of industrial supply items, primarily manufacturing technical parts from thermoplastic plastics on 14 centrally controlled, fully automatic injection molding machines with a clamping force between 250 and 1500 kN and a maximum shot weight of approximately 250 g. An integrated manual/mechanical contract manufacturing allows for the delivery of assemblies and hybrid parts (thermoplastic/thermoplastic, thermoplastic/metal, thermoplastic/felt), including the use of supplied parts as well as packaging and assembly services. Multi-component parts can also be offered, as well as prototypes created using the SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) process with practical properties. The standard program is cataloged, and we also manufacture special parts according to samples and drawings. The molds for our own products are created by our toolmaking department in consultation with our product development area. A special system in mold construction allows for variant production of existing product series for numerous own products starting from quantities of 2,000-5,000 pieces at the price of comparable standard items without charging for tool costs. The managing director leads the company. The areas of development, production, materials management, and administration report to him, which are further divided into sub-areas. Important decisions are made in regular meetings between the managing director and department heads. The global export share of total sales is approximately 25%. The company operates according to the ISO 9001 quality management system, certified by an external party since 1998.
