Founded in 1864, it produced the world's first backpack plant protection sprayer, which can still be seen today at the German Museum in Munich. Meanwhile, despite the focus on plant protection products, a small but significant branch of high-pressure technology developed within the company. The first device was introduced in 1958. In the mid-60s, cleaning devices for breweries were launched. Approximately 30% of sales are generated from exports. Importers in the EU countries, the Eastern Bloc, and Asia ensure customer proximity. Domestically, Platz is always accessible to customers through regional representatives and authorized dealers, as well as a comprehensive customer service network.
