Borrmann Brenner Berlin GmbH was founded in 1949 in Berlin. In the early years, the company primarily produced burners for heating bitumen for small craft businesses, particularly in the construction and roofing sectors. With the spread of propane as a mobile and clean energy source, new opportunities arose in the construction sector to replace the previously common heating methods using coal or wood. Business contacts with Deutsche Bundespost led to an expansion of the product range in the following years, including hand burners for soldering work and burners for bitumen boilers for pouring cable joints. Acquiring large customers was the stated marketing goal. The company's philosophy focused early on innovative products with excellent quality and intensive customer support. This strategy enabled the acquisition of additional clients, such as Deutsche Bundesbahn and several large energy supply companies. When, in the early 1970s, Deutsche Bundespost changed the technology for cable connections, there was no suitable burner range on the market for processing the newly developed shrink joints. With a new burner developed by Borrmann Brenner Berlin GmbH, this market gap was closed, and the entire Bundespost was equipped. Building on this, telecommunications companies in Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Bulgaria, South Africa, and the Czech Republic have been supplied with these burners for many years. Currently, efforts are underway to expand into Southeast Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. By the end of the 1970s, the active offering of attractive solutions also allowed the company to completely occupy the market segment for gas burners for road construction machinery. In 1994, the company headquarters and production were relocated to Baruth/Mark - OT Schöbendorf in the state of Brandenburg. Borrmann Brenner Berlin GmbH has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 since 1998.
