Christian Stöhr GmbH & Co. KG

In 1925, Christian Stöhr founded his company as a supplier for the electrical industry with 100 borrowed Reichsmark. Even back then, well-known companies were among our clients. Companies such as Siemens, AEG, and Lindner were part of our customer base. In the following years, an electrical metal goods factory developed, which secured its survival through flexibility and unusual innovations such as electric lighters, beekeeping accessories, and more. After the introduction of the D-Mark in 1948, very good foreign contacts developed, and from the utilization of perforated sheet metal for signaling devices, the first curling iron emerged around 1950. The increased demand led to the classic Filigran® curlers and rollers produced using a patented process in 1954. Starting in 1959, extruded curling rollers made of PE were added to the hair care range. The product range has been significantly expanded and improved to this day! Our company is now run by the third generation and confidently asserts itself in global competition. Production is carried out exclusively according to our own processes, developed in our internal research laboratory with mechanical engineering. Quick and flexible fulfillment of customer requests (even unusual requirements) is our specialty!
