As a medium-sized family business, we have remained true to our roots for over 150 years. We take pride in our long tradition. In 1861, Carl Friedrich Spiess, inspired by his familial relationship with Justus von Liebig, founded a 'earth color preparation business' in Kleinkarlbach. The location in Kleinkarlbach has been maintained to this day. In the meantime, an additional production site was established in Alsbach-Hähnlein. Today, we are an established traditional company for liquid and solid substances in the chemical and chemical-technical sectors. We have 150 years of experience and offer our customers a wide range of expertise in chemical production.
