In 1999, Jack Li completed his studies in mold design and machining. He later moved to Shenzhen when the city was still a small town (Shenzhen had over 10 million residents in 2020!). Originally, he had the opportunity to work at Foxconn, which was already a huge company at that time, but instead, he chose to start his career at a small company in Hong Kong - a decision he has maintained to this day. Jack began at the company from the ground up, working in areas ranging from CNC machining to die casting and investment casting, eventually building a strong technical team. In 2006, he founded the DS Mold Factory to design and produce die-casting, plastic, and stamping molds for customers. By 2008, the small factory had evolved into an integrated mold-making and die-casting facility; in 2009, a new CNC factory was established, offering CNC turning and milling services. In 2016, the investment casting facility was established, providing customers with steel, stainless steel, and copper casting along with CNC machining. In 2018, he founded a company for DC motors with a motor assembly line that offers gearbox services with module 3, accuracy levels 6-8. Since founding his company, the entire team has pursued consistently high quality. DS Industries has since built long-term business relationships with companies such as Dormakaba, Spectrum Brands, Hillrom, KitchenAid, and the list continues to grow.
