The company manufactures polyethylene films, primarily for food packaging and hygiene products. The success of Gebr. Dürrbeck Kunststoffe GmbH can be most easily gauged by the size of its production halls. After the company was founded in 1956, a 1,600 sqm hall was built 13 years later. By 1999, the total production area had already reached 7,500 sqm. In the company's 50th year, it now produces 22,000 tons of film per year on an area of 11,000 sqm.
