GEDA – a global player with strong roots The medium-sized company GEDA GmbH, based in Asbach-Bäumenheim, has been one of the world's most successful manufacturers of construction and industrial elevators as well as facade access systems for 90 years. From compact 60 kg hoists for craftsmen to 3.7 t passenger elevators with lifting heights of up to 400 m – the GEDA product range could not be broader. As the only manufacturer in the world, the company offers everything from a single source: from quotation preparation to service. Long-term partnerships with customers, suppliers, and employees form the foundation of the GEDA corporate philosophy. Around 500 employees work in four locations worldwide to contribute to the company's success. In addition to the headquarters in Bavaria's Asbach-Bäumenheim, GEDA has locations in Gera (Thuringia) and Bergkamen (North Rhine-Westphalia) in Germany.
