SMI Handling Systeme, as a medium-sized family business, has over 35 years of experience in the sales of vacuum lifters and handling devices. The company is headquartered in Wetter (Ruhr), North Rhine-Westphalia, and currently employs 22 staff members. SMI is supported in nationwide sales in Germany by 5 representatives and by independent partners abroad. SMI specializes in developing solutions for the handling of goods, with a focus on vacuum lifting technology. Under the brands smilift and smigrip, SMI offers complete product lines and custom devices for transporting loads ranging from small to heavy. After more than 35 years in the international market, our customers can be found in nearly all sectors of industry and commerce. Due to the diverse industry coverage, we also offer our products in stainless steel versions and for Ex-areas. In addition to "standard products" such as bags, boxes, buckets, barrels, and canisters, we also design custom solutions for handling items such as cheese and butter blocks, EURO pallets and industrial pallets, rubber balls, batteries, coils and spools, car roofs, glass panes, cans, rims (aluminum rims, steel rims), or various plates.
