Tiedemann & Betz has been a leader in force measurement for years with analog ring force gauges, which are favored in machine and vehicle construction due to their precision, and are also used for tensioning overhead lines, for example. For the ring force gauges awarded a gold medal by Prime Minister Goppel, we also offer a calibration service. Tiedemann & Betz's optical stress devices today assist in quality assurance by easily demonstrating the stress states of, for instance, windshields or headlight lenses. Furthermore, they are an excellent tool for engineering education to visualize stress distributions. For three decades, Tiedemann has been the European contact for FUJIFILM Prescale pressure measurement films for measuring surface pressures. The films are simple and universally applicable. They can cover all areas of technology, from tire prints to cylinder head gaskets, from impact tests to orthopedic foot impressions. Together with the Tiedemann calibration device and evaluation software, measurement results can be easily quantified. Tiedemann also offers numerous devices for measuring gas, oxygen, and water vapor permeation from our Chinese partner Labthink Instruments Co., Ltd. The high-precision devices operate with the latest and mostly integrated software. This means that only the connection of output devices is necessary. Some devices additionally require a computer connection. The software allows the user to perform precise data evaluation through various display options, as well as comparison, search, and help functions, along with an automated status inquiry of the device with regular calibration reminders. All devices operate in accordance with current standards. As part of our engineering services, we implement ideas into measurement-technical solutions. For example, we have been manufacturing components and assemblies for laser measuring devices to measure paint thickness on thin wires, which are integrated into wire drawing machines, for years. In our precision mechanics workshop, products can be directly implemented.
