History: BEHRINGER GmbH was founded in 1919 by August Behringer as a mechanical workshop. After World War II, the first band saw machine was developed and produced. In 1952, the first own foundry was put into operation to support the steadily growing saw production. Since the development of the first BEHRINGER band saw machine in 1977 and the acquisition of the circular saw specialist EISELE in 2000, BEHRINGER GmbH has become one of the few complete providers in the saw technology market. BEHRINGER Today: BEHRINGER GmbH is a family-owned, medium-sized company in its third generation. Traditional values, solid technology, and a high level of manufacturing depth characterize us. We are a long-term oriented company and maintain a partnership relationship with our customers and suppliers. Business Field: Our passion for the sawing process drives us as a leader in competence and technology for band and circular saws. Behringer is one of the few complete providers in the saw technology market. Our product range includes band and circular saw machines, hacksaws, and systems for steel construction. We are particularly competent in providing customized solutions in the area of material handling. We offer personal and individual consulting. The second pillar of Behringer GmbH is its own foundry. Partly supplying our own machine production, but mainly serving customers from the German machinery industry, our in-house foundry delivers everything from raw cast parts made of gray or ductile iron to ready-to-install components from a single source. Market Position: The BEHRINGER Group is now one of the world's leading providers of powerful band and circular saw technology. Together with the Behringer subsidiary Behringer Eisele from Weilheim/Teck and the French sister company Vernet Behringer from Dijon, it is one of the few complete providers in the market. The Behringer customer base spans the entire metal and steel construction as well as the machinery and plant engineering sectors. Additionally, Behringer saw machines are used by steel manufacturers, steel traders, in foundries, and forging companies. Users in the non-ferrous metal sector, who need to cut materials such as copper and aluminum, are also among our customers. International Presence: Behringer GmbH is active both nationally and in the global market. Participation in international conferences, trade fairs, and specialized events has been part of our routine for decades. The company, which today employs around 400 people worldwide, exports to over 70 countries. Subsidiaries in Weilheim/Teck, the USA, France, and representatives worldwide ensure optimal customer support. Despite its international orientation, there is a strong connection to the location.
