For oxygen-sensitive products — beer, juice, wine — dissolved oxygen pickup through the filler and closure is a quality parameter with a direct effect on shelf life, and it varies substantially between filling technologies. Ask for measured pickup figures from comparable installations rather than a claim, and treat carbonation stability the same way.
Utilities, water and what the building has to provide
A beverage line consumes water, steam, compressed air, CO2, refrigeration and effluent capacity, and the incoming water usually needs its own treatment to meet product specification consistently. These are frequently the items that delay a project, because they belong to the building rather than to the machine supplier's scope.
Ask for a utilities schedule early and check it against what your site can actually deliver, including effluent. Then agree who is responsible for the gaps. Line commissioning delayed by a water treatment package nobody had quoted is one of the more common and most avoidable ways a project loses a quarter.
